A NOTE FROM WILLIAM

We’ve made great progress for our community: from reforming our criminal justice system to enhancing economic development and even passing legislation to increase access to fresh food grocers in our neighborhood. I am now looking to take this progress to the Clark County Commission to continue creating jobs, strengthening public safety, increasing access to healthcare, and improving our schools for the residents of District D.

I am shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Rev. Dr. Robert E. Fowler, Sr. This is a tremendous and painful loss for not only the Historic Westside community but for our entire state. He was a devoted Pastor, a tireless community activist, and an amazing leader and human being. After the passing of my mentor and friend, Assemblyman Tyrone Thompson, Dr. Fowler was a comfort and encourager to Thompson’s family and friends. I was able to see and experience the affects of his ministry intimately during that difficult time. I am at a loss for words. My heart goes out to the Fowler family, and his dynamic Victory Missionary Baptist Church family. I will personally make certain this great man is honored in the way he deserves in the very near future.

100,000 American lives have been lost to this virus because Trump failed to act. This loss is difficult to comprehend, but we will not forget. Trump’s failure will forever be a stain on our country. It’s time we elect a president who will take responsibility for our lives.
