A NOTE FROM WILLIAM

We’ve made great progress for our community: from reforming our criminal justice system to enhancing economic development and even passing legislation to increase access to fresh food grocers in our neighborhood. I am now looking to take this progress to the Clark County Commission to continue creating jobs, strengthening public safety, increasing access to healthcare, and improving our schools for the residents of District D.

Together, with family, community members and friends, we made it official, and filed to run for Clark County Commission District D. Thankful to have SEIU Nevada there with me for the kickoff! #WeAllWinWithWilliam #willofthepeople #inthistogether ... See MoreSee Less

Keeping the dream alive with friends, family, and the community. I enjoyed participating in the 38th Annual MLK Day Parade. Congratulations to the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Committee of Las Vegas for putting together another successful parade. #WeAllWinWithWilliam #MLKDay ... See MoreSee Less

Sam was incredibly kind, thoughtful and intentional. Sending my love to Sams family and friends, who like myself will sorely miss him. His legacy and years of public service will live on for many years. May his vision for Nevada’s Edu system and our state continue to guide us. https://t.co/FULvFrj2lu

In a time of crisis where our healthcare professionals are carrying the weight of our society, as well as caring for themselves and their families, the absolute last concern should be their workplace rights being violated. County workers must have protections. #ProtectNurses https://t.co/rEbEwGWjGG
