Clark County unveils potential new One October memorial designs

Clark County commissioners on Monday unveiled a new exhibit that features five concepts for a future One October memorial.

Five design concepts, now on display inside the Clark County Government Center, were created by the five design teams selected by the One October committee earlier this year.

The One October committee will select a design in July to be a permanent memorial for those who lost their lives during the Route 91 Harvest Music Festival.

“Think about the pain and struggle but also some of the reflection that’s going to be done. One of the sites that will allow many of our families who may experience some of the tragic, most tragic moments in their lifetimes and allowed them to really reflect and allow them to heal,” said County Commissioner William McCurdy II.
